Recently, the pickup truck market has been filling out with more midsize truck options. But out of all of the new players, the tried-and-true Toyota Tacoma is a fan favorite.
If you know a Tacoma driver, you're well aware of how fiercely loyal they are to their pickups. They'll hang onto their Tacoma trucks for years and years -- partly because they're so attached to them and also because of Toyota's reputation for durability, reliability and longevity. Roughly 80 percent of all Toyota vehicles sold within the past decade are still on the road today, and that's reason enough to choose the Tacoma over other midsize pickups.
But, of course, there are more selling points to the Tacoma than just its lifespan. We did some comparison shopping for our truck-driving customers, pinning the 2016 Tacoma against the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, and we posted the results below. If you're not already a diehard Tacoma fan, we think these findings might convince you to convert.
